The Golden Quinoa is sun-ripened to produce the seeds of the highest nutritional quality grown on Australian Soil. This Quinoa is chemical free. It has low Glycemic Index, loaded with antioxidants and when it is cooked, it increases the feeling of fullness.
Golden Quinoa is high in protein (14gm per 100gm) – higher amount than rice or barley. It is gluten free and an excellent source of calcium, manganese and magnesium. It also has a strong level of several Vitamin B, Vitamin E and dietary fibre.
It can be used as a cereal for breakfast, as a salad for lunch or a side for dinner.
Directions to cook:
Rinse and soak a small cup of Quinoa in water for 20-30 minutes. Then pour the water away and add water (a small cup) to this Quinoa and steam it for about 20mins. It will be dry and fluffy. Or else boil the Quinoa till it is cooked and sieve the Quinoa to let it dry and use it as per your own requirement.
